“This single resulted from a discussion with friends about our kids. We came to the realization that many of the struggles Gen Z is experiencing resulted from the selfishness of previous generations. If we’re honest, the Boomers and Gen X chose to make ourselves the number one pursuit in life. We failed our kids. Now we have to support them and help them get back what we once had — we owe them that. This is an honest self-reflective song.” – TRS

“I released the Songwriter volumes in late 2025. They span twelve years of my work resulting in 75 songs covered by what I believe to be the best sounding musicianship and vocals in the industry. I was asked recently why I don’t use my own vocals much on my records anymore. Here was my simple answer: I found out my songs sound much better when I’m not the one singing them – ‘a man’s gotta know his limitations’. But seriously, the songs deserve much more than my vocal skills can deliver and it’s never been about me — it’s about the music and the message.
